Silver Spring Neighborhood Center (SSNC) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to build a safer, stronger neighborhood and community by helping individuals and families work towards self-sufficiency.  For more than 60 years the Silver Spring Neighborhood Center has been promoting change in the Westlawn community by providing a comprehensive array of education, health, and social services. We feed the hungry; we provide a safe place for youth and teens; we prepare opportunity youth and adults for employment; we offer educational programs for every age and stage of life.
